SW Center to offer classes this fall

In partnership with the John Leland Center for Theological Studies, the Southwest Virginia Christian Leadership Network will offer college-credit Bible classes in fall 2008.

These classes are ideal for ministers, those considering a call to ministry, church leaders or those who simply desire continuing education. Classes begin the week of Aug. 18, meet one night/week at two different sites, and conclude the week of Dec. 8.

Classes offered and locations include:

• Baptist Student Center, UVa-Wise:

Church History (Monday evenings); Spiritual Formations (Tuesday evenings)

• Bonsack Baptist Church, Roanoke:

Life & Letters of Paul (Monday evenings); Baptist History and Beliefs (Thursday evenings)

Classes may be taken for credit or audited. Tuition is affordable and additional scholarships are available for members of Baptist General Association of Virginia churches.
